Matt Rosenthal

ABOUT ME

Matt Rosenthal is a media junkie and essayist from Chicago, Illinois, whose passion for entertainment stretches across film, television, and music. Growing up, he wasn’t just watching movies—he was captivated by the engines behind them: the creative decisions, production choices, and unseen collaborators who brought stories to life. That fascination expanded into all areas of entertainment, deepening his appreciation for how art, creativity, and performance come together to create truly meaningful experiences.

At the University of Iowa, Matt studied cinematic arts and immersed himself in every stage of the creative process. He produced short films, served as a writing editor for FOOLS Magazine, and collaborated on student-led film and screenwriting projects. Through these experiences, he discovered a love not only for telling stories but for supporting the people who tell them—managing projects, developing ideas, and helping artists bring bold visions to life.

Matt is especially passionate about the intersection of production, strategy, and collaboration in entertainment. Whether it’s through coordinating projects, building creative networks, or curating content across arts and media landscapes, he’s drawn to the behind-the-scenes roles that transform ideas into impactful narratives. Above all, he remains passionate about uplifting artists, elevating creative voices, and helping powerful stories reach the audiences they deserve.
